Sweet November :: New Website!

Since I "officially" launched the new business name & logo on November 1st, it's only fitting that I get the website launched by the end of the month, right?  Well, since today is November 30 that means it's DONE!
{Well, for now anyway- there are still a few things I want to finalize and I need to get images from my most recent weddings, but in the mean time...} here it is!  I would LOVE to hear your feedback so feel free to leave a comment {or send an email if you'd rather}  I hope y'all like it!

And since I'm so technologically challenged, I have to give lots of love to the amazingly talented {and always patient} Ashleigh McHenry for her mad skills and to the fab Jess Bishop from JessLehry Designs for my new logo & color scheme.  Y'all rock...for real!

Cheers!

All that glitters is gold (or any other color...)

A few months ago I stumbled on a picture of the most fabulous shoes!  Now I only need a really good reason to buy them & someplace to wear them!
Anyway, with the holidays fast approaching I thought I'd find some fun accessories that have some sparkle & glitter to them!  Everything from scarves and clutches to eyeliner and nail polish.  Just be sure not to over do the glitter factor!

scarf: Target  clutch: Anya Hindmarch  eyeliner: Bobbi Brown  eyeshadow: Chanel  nail polish: OPI  belt: ArdenB
bracelet, hair clips, bobby pins: forever 21

Have you seen any other sparkly accessories for brides, maids, gifts, holiday parties, or just a fun spice up to an outfit for work?  If so, leave me a comment & let me know what your favorite glittered accessory is!

Cheers!

Sweet November :: Happy Anniversary to my fabulous husband!

**Fair warning: The new blog is still a work in progress, but I figured a post about my own wedding anniversary would make a good "guinea pig" post.

Three years ago today I was a bride.  And I loved every minute of it.  In fact, my  Casablanca wedding gown still hangs in the coat closet I stuck it in on the day after the wedding.  Hasn't been cleaned or preserved.  Just hangs there. Maybe as long as it's hanging in there it will still fit...right?

Anyway, I also love being a wife. This is probably because I have a pretty fabulous husband.  I mean he cooks AND puts up with me and all my craziness so you know he's awesome!

So here's to my adorable, patient, caring, Seinfeld watching, MSU football loving, pug walking, Avett Brothers singing husband.  Thank you for loving me and putting up with me everyday! xoxo

Now, for the rest of you- here are some of my favorite photos from our wedding day thanks to the amazingly talented Kristin & Aaron Byrum of Kristin Byrum Photography!  And thanks to the great team at Byron's South End & Best Impressions Caterers for providing the perfect venue/environment for our wedding reception and, of course, yummy food! People still talk about how much they loved the food at our wedding. Seriously.

Enjoy! {and leave some nice comment love, k?}

Cheers!

 The green shoes that started it all....

 Pretending he wasn't nervous. How cute is he?!

My sister putting her veil in my hair!

 One of my very favorite pictures. Ever.

 LOVED my bouquet! {Thank you, Lorie!} The handkerchief wrapped around it was carried by Steve's grandmother on her wedding day and the brooch belonged to my grandmother!

 The result of opening the doors to 250+ people and my then 15 month old niece saying "no no, mama!"

 Yep, we were those people with the ginormous bridal party.  Love 'em all!

 Adore our Kate Spade toasting flutes!

 Vinny {from Split Second Sound} doing what he does best...keeping the dance floor packed.
Which it was. All. Night. Long.

 Amazing cake created by pastry chef extraordinaire Frank Kaltsounis-
(who also happens to be married to one of my best friends!)

 I didn't discover this picture until several months after our wedding (about the 127th time I'd looked at all of the pictures) and it is by far one of my favorites. Candid photography at its finest!

 Steve's favorite detail from our wedding weekend - the custom cups he had to have!

 At the end of the night all of our guests spontaneously circled up & sereneded us with "Piano Man"
Easily the best part of the night.  Such an amazing feeling!
